EAST HAVEN — Foxhaven Plaza got a new tenant August 28: discount retailer Ocean State Job Lot, which opened a 22,000-square-foot facility in the former Ames Department Store at 713 Foxon Road. It is the 19th Connecticut store for the 26-year-old retailer based in North Kingston, R.I. Ocean State Job Lot operates 66 stores in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut. The company says the East Haven store will employ some 70 workers.
