HAMDEN — On Sunday, September 14 Hamden boutique Dava will hold its seventh annual benefit to raise funds for AIDS Project New Haven’s (APNH) daily meals delivery program, Caring Cuisine. Proceeds will help Caring Cuisine expand its services to feed more homebound people living with AIDS and their dependent children in the New Haven and lower Naugatuck Valley areas. Currently 20 percent of the 160 people Caring Cuisine serves each day are children. APHN is also commemorating 20 years of service. The event will feature live entertainment, store discounts, massages, a raffle and refreshments in return for a $10 donation. The benefit begins at 5:30 p.m. and tickets are available in advance or at the door at 2100 Dixwell Avenue in the Hamden Plaza. To learn more call 203-230-0039.
