WILTON - Mercator Software Inc. (NASDAQ: MCTR) has announced that Posten, Sweden's postal service, has selected Mercator Integration Broker as its integration solution for electronic messaging. Posten will use Mercator Integration Broker to automate message handling between different types of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. With its ability to work with any messaging standard, Mercator Integration Broker allows Posten to synchronize, update and accelerate electronic messaging.
Posten will use Mercator Integration Broker to handle Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), giving the postal service the ability to receive electronic messages from any company and forward contents to multiple recipients quickly and efficiently. Using Posten's electronic services, which automatically convert EDI, XML and any other type of format through Mercator Integration Broker, companies will be able to communicate with each other regardless of protocol or format or the type of system they use, avoiding the need to replace old systems, invest in new equipment, or adapt their current ERP systems.
