FAIRFIELD — The Bank of Westport has opened a Fairfield branch at 1312 Boston Post Road, near the Fairfield train station. The branch opened September 18 to fanfare including a promotion that gave local officials a chance to enter a seven-foot-tall money machine swirling with $5, $10, $20 and $50 bills and "Grab the Cash" (all of which was then donated to local charities and town service programs).
The newly renovated branch, graced by a hand-painted mural of downtown Fairfield by artist Susan Gilbert, will be managed by Shanelle King.
