| NEW HAVEN - Johnson & Johnson has awarded $525,000 to the Physician Scholars in International Health Program at the Yale School of Medicine to encourage physician involvement in foreign countries. The grant is J&J's third to the program in three years, bringing its total support for the program to more than $1 million. This year 83 physicians received Yale/Johnson & Johnson Scholar Awards, which offers stipends to doctors in training, academia, active practice or post-retirement. The program has established 16 sites in under-served areas overseas where the American physicians work during the scholar program.
