APS Technology Moving 'Fast'

CROMWELL - APS Technology has been named to the Deloitte Connecticut Technology Fast 50 Program, which ranks the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the state. The rankings are based on percentage of growth in annual revenues over five years. To qualify, a company must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 1998 and $1 million in 2002. In addition, the firm must be a "technology company," defined as owning proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's revenues and/or devoting a significant proportion of revenues to R&D technology.
APS is an engineering and manufacturing company specializing inelectromechanical hardware and sensor technology that operates in harsh environments. It has developed products for the oilfield industry that allow measurements to be taken behind the bit while drilling and transmitted to the surface in real time. It also makes equipment that operates reliably in the presence of shock, vibration, temperature, pressure, fluid flow and harmful gasses.
