BRISTOL - Spurred by the growth of alternative or "clean" energy companies in the highly competitive energy market, Creativenergy, LLC (www.creativenergy.biz), an integrated marketing solutions company, has added three new clients.
Creativenergy will provide marketing, public relations, graphic and Web design services for Rentricity Inc., a developer of technologies to transform the untapped energy in various man-made processes into renewable energy, and New York Energy Inc., a provider of electricity to the unregulated commercial and industrial markets in upstate New York. Creativenergy is also creating and marketing a test program for SmartPower, a non-profit marketing campaign encouraging Massachusetts residents and businesses to sign up for Massachusetts Electric's GreenUp renewable energy service. The test program, in the Worcester, Mass. market, will eventually be rolled out in key markets throughout the Northeast. Additionally, Creativenergy is developing marketing communications tools, including Web sites and public relations programs, for wind power development throughout the Northeast.
Creativenergy was founded last spring by Connecticut advertising executive Eric Tulin and former Connecticut Natural Gas sales and marketing executive John F. Kearney Jr. Explained Tulin: "Rentricity is currently collaborating with Aquarion Water Co. to install devices that will generate electricity from excess pressure in municipal water pipes. New York Energy is providing sales and marketing services for ConEdison Solutions in upstate New York markets. And our work with SmartPower, especially, explores how best to educate both residential and commercial consumers about clean energy alternatives."
"All projections show increasing demand for power worldwide, and extremely difficult obstacles related to production, transmission and cost," added Kearney. "By establishing a marketing-communications practice targeting this field, Creativenergy is uniquely positioned to serve the needs of companies that are emerging and will continue to emerge in this rapidly evolving industry."
