Downtown New Haven's resurgence as a capital for culture, creativity and commerce has become a popular story in the national and regional press. According to the January 7 Washington Post article headlined "A City with a Rep," "Today New Haven is a quaint retreat from busier cities, with 10 times the culture....The sparkling Chapel Street Business District bisects the downtown, filled with pricey clothing and jewelry stores, old Yale watering holes, coffeehouses and adventurous restaurants serving fusion Asian and Latin American cuisine." Boo-yah....
