KX Founder Earns Honor

ORANGE - Evan Koslow, founder and CEO of KX Industries, LP, an OEM manufacturer of carbon block filters for residential and commercial use, will receive an Award of Merit from the Water Quality Association. This not-for-profit international trade association represents various facets of the water industry, including household, commercial, industrial and small community water treatment. The award, to be presented at the 30th WQA Annual Conference in Baltimore, and is given based on its recipients' "exceptional service given to the water quality improvement industry." Koslow was nominated for his "pioneering work in establishing carbon block as the desirable way of removing many chronic contaminants from drinking water," according to a press release. Founded in 1989, KX Industries was originally a joint venture with Exxon Chemical Corp. but today is privately held.
