TRUMBULL - Unilever Home & Personal Care US has signed two new leases at 45 & 50 Commerce Drive, owned by subsidiaries of David A. Mack Properties of Southport. Unilever will occupy 57,000 square feet at 45 Commerce Drive and 65,000 square feet at 50 Commerce Drive. The company signed long-term leases at both locations. The buildings are directly across from 40 Merritt Boulevard, the 107,000-square-foot facility acquired earlier this year by Unilever and currently being expanded to 200,000 square feet to facilitate the consolidation of its global skin research. The expansion comes on the heals of Unilever's earlier announcement that it would relocate its North American headquarters to Trumbull. Unilever now owns or leases in excess of 550,000 square feet of office space in Trumbull. Jay S. Hruska of Cushman & Wakefield represented Unilever in these negotiations. The landlord, David A. Mack, represented himself.
