| MIDDLETOWN - Qualidigm, Connecticut's Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO), has unveiled an enhanced set of quality measures designed to make it easier for consumers to measure and compare the quality of care available in the state's nursing homes. The 14 enhanced measures, including 11 for chronic and three for post-acute care, have been endorsed by the National Quality Forum, a voluntary standard-setting organization representing providers, consumers, purchasers and researchers. The standards are featured on Medicare's Nursing Home Compare Web site (at www.medicare.gov).
