| NEW HAVEN - The good news: DSL.net posted fourth-quarter revenues of $18.2 million - the highest quarterly figure since the company's 1998 founding and up 62 percent from the same period a year earlier. The bad news: The New Haven-based broadband provider failed to break into the black, despite the acquisition of two companies and a rollout of Internet-based telephone services. Losses for the quarter totaled $7.8 million (ten cents per share), and $35 million (64 cents [per share) for calendar 2003. In December DSL.net purchased the Virginia-based Network Access Solutions Corp. as well as assets from TalkingNets of Wilmington, N.C.
