Dianon Expands Agreement with Aetna

STRATFORD - Dianon Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: DIAN), which provides cancer and genomic diagnostic services, has expanded its relationship with Aetna for anatomic pathology and other testing services. Dianon will provide testing services for Aetna's HMO-based plans in Georgia. In addition, Dianon will continue as a participating provider for laboratory testing services for all other Aetna health products in Georgia.
“This most recent expansion into Georgia represents Dianon's entry into its fourth of six Aetna regions,” said Martin J. Stefanelli, Dianon's senior vice president of sales, marketing and business development. “We look forward to meeting and exceeding the high expectations of Aetna, its participating physicians and its members as we begin our services with Aetna in the Georgia market.''
