Cuno To Appeal Ruling in Pall Case

MERIDEN - Cuno Inc. (NASDAQ: CUNO) has announced that it plans to appeal a recent ruling by the U.S. District Court related to Pall Corp.'s Ultipleat filter configuration and products.
The Cuno products which are subject to this patent infringement litigation are its PolyPro XL filters and LifeAssure filters. Cuno maintains that its products do not infringe on Pall's patents. Cuno officials say they intend to appeal the decision to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Before that happens, however, the court must address issues including whether Pall's patents are valid. Cuno says it will continue to pursue its claims that the Pall patents are invalid and therefore unenforceable.
