TranSwitch Allies with Samsung

SHELTON - TranSwitch Corp. (NASDAQ: TXCC), a maker of high-speed communications chips, has entered into a strategic alliance with Samsung Electronics, a telecom equipment and chip maker. The deal names TranSwitch as a preferred supplier and a strategic partner of the Samsung Network Broadband unit for development of the Korean company's next-generation networking systems.
“This agreement reinforces a long-standing relationship between TranSwitch and Samsung and represents the opportunity going forward to align the TranSwitch roadmap with the Samsung product roadmap,'' said Santanu Das, president and chief executive of TranSwitch.
