Waterbury Chamber Earns Communications Award

WATERBURY -The Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce is the recipient of three 2001 Awards for Communication Excellence (ACE) - Spotlighting the “Best of the Best” - presented by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). The chamber was honored for marketing materials for the city's Information Technology Zone (ITZ) and earned the group's Grand Award.
Development Counselors International of New York, GP&P Marketing Communications of Prospect, and Carole MacKay Graphics of Roxbury all contributed to the design of the ITZ promotional materials. The chamber's “Get Connected” image and marketing materials earned an Award for Excellence. The materials designed by Carol MacKay were used to better position the chamber to executives at all levels and businesses of all sizes.
The Chamber's redesigned Internet site, www.waterburychamber.org, received an Award of Merit. The site, relaunched last year following a redesign, has received more than 5,200 page views a month.
