CVG Kicks Off New Season

NEW HAVEN - The Connecticut Venture Group (CVG) meets at the Omni New Haven Hotel at 5:30 p.m. on September 20 with a panel of experts discussing financing new ventures in the current market. Panelists include moderator Brian Harrigan of WB Harrigan and Co., an investment banking and early-stage investment company focusing on seed financing for technology companies in the financial services industry. Also present will be George Abrahams of Silicon Alley Seed Investors (SASI), formed to facilitate the creation and growth of seed and early-stage technology companies in the New York metro and tri-state area. SASI is backed by Canaan Partners, Rho Management and Sevin Rosen Funds. Inder Soni is principal of Zero Stage Capital, which helps start-up, early-stage and ongoing high technology companies achieve rapid growth. Tom Conroy is president of NextGen. A joint venture between the Phoenix Companies Inc., and Connecticut Innovations Inc. (CII), NextGen offers seed-stage venture capital and professional management support to entrepreneurial, high-tech companies in Connecticut.
