NeuVis Secures $10 Million in Funding

SHELTON -NeuVis Software, which creates rapid application development (RAD) software for creating enterprise-class e-business applications, announced that it had secured $10 million of new funding to support continued product development and an expanded sales and marketing effort. The financing included investments from Goldman Sachs, J&W Seligman, Connecticut Innovations Inc., Lehman Brothers, Admirals, CP Baker, General Electric Pension Trust, The Chatterjee Group and Archery Capital.
This funding will enable NeuVis to pursue emerging and high-growth market opportunities in the XML and Web services segments. XML is the common language of e-business and serves as the backbone for Web services. Web services are loosely coupled software components delivered over Internet technologies that allow applications to swap functionality.
