The Quinnipiac and Milford chambers of commerce were recently honored at the annual meeting of the National Association for Membership Development in Toronto. The Quinnipiac chamber earned an “Award of Excellence” in the under-$200,000 dues income category. This is the highest honor in the membership-development field, recognizing and celebrating outstanding achievement and retention.
Nell Moll, director of membership for the Milford Chamber of Commerce, earned third-place honors in the “National Sales Contest” for chambers with dues income of less than $200,000. From July 1, 2000 through June 30, 2001, Moll is credited with enrolling 117 businesses in the Milford chamber. Moll was also the winner of two scholarships to the conference.
