ORANGE - Staples has moved from Saw Mill Road in West Haven to 80 Boston Post Road. The location, formerly occupied by Sears Automotive, has been completely renovated and expanded to 24,000 square feet. According to general manager Richard Bradley: This is a new concept for us. We don't want to look like a warehouse. We want to provide a customer-friendly atmosphere. Customers can come in and touch the products, examine them. Additional sales personnel have been hired to help customers deal with the new approach, providing more personal service.
In addition to expanding the product line and making products more easily available to the customer, the store has almost doubled its size from the previous store in West Haven. Staples is open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays, Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
