NEW HAVEN - The Greater New Haven Leadership Center is seeking nominations and applications for individuals in corporate, non-profit and government organizations for its Leadership Greater New Haven 2001-02 program and the autumn session of its executive-orientation class. The mission of the Leadership Center is to identify aspiring leaders and support their growth through leadership training and community education.
In its 17th year, Leadership Greater New Haven is a ten-month program for executives in all industries. Participants also take part in a community-service project. In its fifth year, the executive-orientation initiative is designed for senior executives who are new to the area and/or new to their positions and are interested in understanding the relevant regional issues, concerns and dynamics of the region in which they live and work.
Applications for Leadership Greater New Haven will be accepted through August 10, while applications for the executive orientation will be entertained through August 23. Limited scholarships are available for individuals from non-profit organizations. Call 203-782-4314.
