ORANGE - The hammers are still swinging in preparation for the April 2nd grand opening of Michael's Jewelers at 435 Boston Post Road. This is the 12th location in Connecticut for the company. The new 3,000 square foot retail store “gives us an opportunity to have a larger store and offer a wide array of products, with ample parking to better serve our customers,” said manager Richard Pittala. Michael's will add a line of Waterford Crystal and fine giftware to its jewelry collection. In addition they will be showcasing new watch lines, designer and platinum jewelry and an expansive collection of diamonds. The new store will be open Tuesday through Sundays, most days until 6 p.m., and Thursday and Friday until 9 p.m.
