WALLINGFORD - TransAct Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: TACT), a manufacturer of transaction-based printers and related products under the Ithaca, Magnetec and TransAct.com brand names, announced it has secured a new three-year, $13.5 million credit facility from LaSalle Business Credit Inc., a subsidiary of Chicago-based LaSalle Bank and Amsterdam based ABN AMRO Bank N.V. The new agreement provides a $12 million revolving credit line, a $500,000 term loan and a $1 million equipment-loan facility. The package replaces the company's credit agreement with Webster Bank.
The new credit facility will provide TransAct with increased borrowing capacity and financing flexibility to fund the company's anticipated growth, particularly in the emerging cashless slot-machine market where payouts made on printed tickets and in point-of-sale market of inkjet printers.
