NEW HAVEN - Old pal Matthew Nemerson early this month received the Community Service Award from Yeshiva of New Haven and the Gan School. Established in 1980, the award in years past has been bestowed on political leaders such as former U.S. Rep. Bruce Morrison and then-New Haven Mayor Biagio DiLieto, as well as business leaders such as banker Charles Terrell.
Nemerson, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Netkey Inc. in Branford, was president of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce from 1987 to 2000. Before that, the New Haven native and Yale MBA was chief operating officer of the Science Park Development Co.
