New Haven: C'mon, Live a Little! is the official logo and tagline of a multimedia advertising campaign marketing downtown New Haven. The campaign, employing television, radio and print, has been developed by Cashman & Katz Integrated Communications of Glastonbury, for Market New Haven Inc., the organization firmed last year to try to create a coherent marketing message for the Elm City.
The campaign will be implemented in three phases. In the first phase, four 15-second television spots will focus on New Haven as a vibrant city, promoting shopping, restaurants, entertainment and nightlife. The second component to the campaign features branded print advertising in publications such as Connecticut magazine the New Haven Register, and several media banners, brochures and written materials.
Everything we do, explains Sue Hartt, executive director of Market New Haven, will carry the logo and tagline: 'New Haven: C'mon Live a Little!' We and Cashman & Katz agreed that it was important to reinforce the notion that New Haven is 'happening' and fun - just like our advertising. Ultimately, the logo and tagline will be used in all event-oriented print and radio ads informing the public of events and activities taking place on the New Haven Green this summer.
