BRIDGEPORT - A new Walgreen's drugstore is planned for a new building at the intersection of Main Street and North Avenue. Walgreen's present 2252 Main Street location will be closed when the new facility opens. The new Walgreen's will share the site with a Chase Bank branch. Construction of the new 22,000-square-foot, single-story structure was expected to begin this month. The present Chase Bank will be razed, along with three other buildings on the site, to make room for the new Walgreen's and Chase.
