FAIRFIELD - The 66th annual Dogwood Festival opens on May 12 and runs through May 15. The four-day event includes a fine arts show and sale, children's activities and hand-crafted items. Greenfield Hill Congregational Church, 1045 Old Academy Road, will host the event, admission to which is free. Open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the festival helps raise funds to support local, national and international mission projects. For further information call 203-259-5596, ext. 19.
Also, on May 12, the Fairfield Women's Club will hold its Market on the Green. The outdoor arts-and-crafts show will feature more than 90 professional crafters, baked goods, flower cart, food venders and a raffle.
