Enthone Receives Intels Preferred Quality Supplier Award

NEW HAVEN - Enthone has earned Intel Corp.'s 2000 Preferred Quality Supplier (PQS) award for outstanding performance in supplying the world's largest chip-maker with plating chemistries. Enthone and 24 additional PQS award were honored at a celebration in Burlingame, Calif. on March 27.
"Enthone, supplying C4 plating chemistries, has achieved this award by demonstrating strong commitment to Intel's requirements with proactive and solid execution in the areas of quality, cost-reduction and engineering support," said Jim Harrison, director of fab materials operations for Intel.
Said Enthone President Barry Luther, "This award proves that teamwork, sound quality assurance and rigorous compliance to standards are essential to delivering truly superior products. Enthone has enhanced its technologies and processes, enabling us to become a leader in semiconductor plating. The partnership has also helped dramatically increase our technical resource proficiencies. This goal is a major milestone for Enthone."
To qualify for PQS status, suppliers must score highly on a quality systems assessment and a supplier report card, as well as meet challenging performance expectations against an improvement plan.
