SHELTON, CONN.—DiMatteo Group, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, hired Maria A. Rodrigues of Milford, Conn., as commercial lines support.
As part of DiMatteo’s commercial lines support team, Rodrigues tracks the organization’s standard renewal policies to help customers avoid policy expirations. She also quotes and provides general support to the commercial lines staff.
Prior to joining DiMatteo Group, Rodrigues worked in the commercial lines department at a Stratford, Conn., independent insurance agency. She was responsible for the agency’s contractors, wholesale business, mercantile and retail accounts. She has more than 30 years experience in the insurance industry, including knowledge of personal lines accounts.
Established in 1960, DiMatteo Group, formerly DiMatteo Insurance Service Center, is a family-owned and operated insurance, employee benefits and financial services organization. The agency’s services include personal, commercial, life and health insurance, investments and financial planning and tax preparation. The company is based in Shelton, Conn.
