Hartford, Conn. (February 23, 2011) – Hartford Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (HYPE) and SwapMeSports were recently named winners of Hartford Business Journal’s Strateg-e Awards at the publication’s annual e-Marketing and Technology Summit, held at the Hilton Hartford.
HYPE won the award for Best Use of Social Media while SwapMeSports was recognized for Best Website Design. Runners up in the respective categories included GoECart and CREC Schools.

In addition to the Strateg-e Awards, the event featured opening remarks by Governor Dannel Malloy, a keynote address by Neal Schaffer Author of Windmill Networking - Understanding, Leveraging and Maximizing LinkedIn, and workshops on topics such as web design, search engine optimization, e-newsletters and social media.
