Litchfield Communications Inc., a fabless semiconductor company creating silicon solutons for network convergence, has appointed former Vitesse Semiconductor executive, Dr. Raif Onvural chief executive officer and president. Onvural founded Orologic Inc. and then joined Vitesse as an executive after its acquisition of Orololic. A native of Turkey, Onvural received a master's degree from Syracuse University and a Ph.D. in Operations Research from North Carolina State University.
