Gov. M. Jodi Rell has named Michael Caron of Danielson, director of public affairs for Pfizer Inc. Research & Development, a trustee of the Connecticut State University System. Caron served nine terms in the General Assembly representing the 44th House District from 1991 to 2009. He was also assistant Republican leader from 1999 to 2009.
