BETHANY: Laticrete International Inc. celebrating its sixtieth year as manufacturer for the building industry is continuing to expand its facilities to meet new demand for it tile & stone, care, masonry decorative floor finishes, construction chemicals and concrete restoration systems and products.
The company is adding 70,000 square feet of space to its existing 100,000-square-foot building at its Grand Prairie, Texas manufacturing and distribution facility.
“This major expansion is necessary to serve our Texas-region customers, maintain stock and distribute high-volume items and other specialty products,” said company VP and founder namesake Henry Rothberg.
Rothberg said the expansion will help serve the “unprecedented growth,” of the company’s operations. The hub employs more than 30 workers.
The company has said the plant expansion coincides with a period of unprecedented growth for the family-owned and privately held business. Over the past three years the company has acquired three companies and expanded the product lines it offers recently completing an expansion of a similar facility in Pottstown, Pa., which serves the northeastern U.S. sales region.
