Connecticut Small Business Development Center (CTSBDC) Launches New Website

Screen Shot 2018 02 16 at 3.27.29 PMEAST HARTFORD: The Connecticut Small Business Development Center [CTSBDC] has launched its revamped website, it what is says is “a fresh, uncluttered design with enhanced content focused on demonstrating CTSBDC’s mission to help Connecticut’s small business owners and entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses.”

Website visitors now have 3 options to sign up for business advising based on their business needs: (1) new to business, (2) existing businesses, or (3) individuals who just need help registering their business with the State of Connecticut.

The site also includes 20 free, online courses in the topics in accounting/finance, HR, legal, management, marketing, and start-up. Two of the courses are available in Spanish.

For companies seeking access to capital the website now offers “more insight into how CTSBDC can help businesses access capital, and how CTSBDC can collaborate with funders.”

“We are excited to launch this new site. It provides visitors with a fresh look, easy navigation and reflects our current program offerings. Additionally, it unveils our new business advising intake process. This updated process will help us serve Connecticut’s businesses more efficiently and will help entrepreneurs get to the resources they need faster,” says Emily Carter, State Director of CTSBDC.

The Connecticut Small Business Development Center (CTSBDC) provides no-cost, confidential business advising services to small business owners and entrepreneurs in every stage of business development in the state of Connecticut.

CTSBDC is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development and the University of Connecticut.
