Graziano Back to Connecticut For A Rerun at WTNH

grazianoNEW HAVEN: The former publisher of the Hartford Courant and General Manager of Fox 61 Richard Graziano has been appointed General Manager of WTNH and WCTX. The station was recently purchased by Nextstar Media Group [Nasdaw: NXST] of Irving, TX as part of the company’s $4.6 billion acquisition of Media General.

Graziano left the Courant and Fox 61 in 2010 after the Courant’s owner Tribune, was separated into a newspaper and broadcast company. Graziano became General manager of WPIX in New York.

Originally the Elm City Broadcasting company became the first Connecticut station on the air when it started broadcast in 1948 as WHNC.
