Connecticut Cycling Advancement Program Named One of America’s Top Cycling Clubs by USA Cycling

logo ccapMiddletown: The CT Cycling Advancement Program (CCAP) has been named the top cycling club in the United States for 2016 in Division I by USA Cycling, a leading US bicycling organization promoting competitive cycling.

CT Cycling Advancement Program took the Division I title for 2016 based on their development of a youth cycling program with three distinctive tiers and focus on community impact. According to CCAP, “these tiers provide a pathway for beginner riders as well as elite riders on the national circuit.:

The group adds, “after just over four years of existence, the CCAP youth programs in the area have experienced unprecedented growth with more than 400 youth currently participating in 30 scholastic and municipality-based programs.”

CCAP, hosted the USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championships in Hartford in January 2016.
