State Firms Nab Top ‘Clean’ Spots

NORWALK — The folks at Mass High Tech, the technology blog of the Boston Business Journal, gave a ranking of the 20 cleanest technology companies in New England, and while there were only three Connecticut companies on the list, two of them captured top spots.

Norwalk-based mechanical and electrical infrastructure company Emcor topped the list as the cleanest in the region, while the No. 2 spot when to Danbury-based FuelCell Energy Inc., which produces clean energy fuel cell power plants.

Environmental consulting firm Normandeau Associates, which has a location in North Haven, ranked No. 17 on the "http://sbcselpa.org/media/>.
