Milford Chamber Offers Scholarships
MILFORD - The Milford Chamber of Commerce announces scholarships are available for 2010, with $21,500 to be awarded to eligible graduating high school seniors. The scholarships are funded through local businesses, non-profit organizations and the annual Bic Golf Classic held each July at Mill River Country Club.
Applications can be printed from the chamber Web site (milfordct.com), as well as through career-services offices at Law and Foran High Schools, Lauralton Hall and Platt Tech. All graduating high school seniors are encouraged to apply; in some cases the scholarship may not require the student be a resident of Milford.
