NEW HAVEN — For the second consecutive year, its employees have catapulted Higher One to the list of Connecticut’s Top Workplaces. The business earns the third spot for 2012, thanks to worker amenities such as a fitness center, free health-focused lunches and xanax online hours, according to a company release. “Being listed a second year in a row is an honor bestowed to us by our committed employees who help us stay on top through their insightful feedback,” said Sharron Gasior, the company’s vice president of human resources, in the release. “As we grow in Connecticut and nationally, we will continue to champion employee wellness, lifestyle and a focus on results — a concept our employees embrace and embody each and every day.” The list was complied by Hearst Connecticut Newspapers, based solely on employee feedback.
