NORTH HAVEN — North Haven Auto Body has been named one of three New England “Shops of the Year” by Damage Report magazine, a collision repair trade publication. Founded in 1938 and today located at 281 Washington Ave., North Haven Auto Body is owned by Bob McSherry, who purchased the business from its previous owner a decade ago. The shop occupies a 14,800-square-foot building and employs 21 staff members. McSherry expects the shop to do nearly $5 million in business this year.
“The purpose of the Damage Report “Shop of the Year” award program is to spotlight those collision repair businesses in New England who are customer focused, professionally managed and forward thinking,” said Bill McDonough, editor of Damage Report. “Good customer service and professionalism is a hallmark of leading shops, no matter how big or small.”
