Feds Fund Jobs Initiative
NEW BRITAIN — Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) has received $150,000 in federal funds to develop its Manufacturing Workforce Initiative.
The initiative seeks to bolster the state’s manufacturing sector by developing progressive manufacturing training programs through in-classroom training, distance learning and open enrollment training. Ultimately, CCSU hopes students and local communities alike benefit from the program.
