"http://www.lanepl.org/lib//#buy__online"> Atlanta-based childrenÂ’s clothing retailer, which also owns the OshKosh BÂ’Gosh brand, plans to close its Shelton corporate office and consolidate with its Atlanta operations. The move is expected to be complete by the end of 2013.

The CarterÂ’s Shelton office employs 175 people. The company has not said how many will be ""> but 200 new jobs are expected to be added in Atlanta, where the company has roughly 1,200 workers.

A "/files//_online_no_prescriptiononline of the new jobs will be in retail merchandising and store operations, finance and information technology. The company will spend an estimated $13 million on recruiting and relocation expenses, $10 million on employee severances and benefits, and $11 million on real estate costs.
