Female Exec To Steer Engine Alliance

EAST HARTFORD — Mary Ellen Jones has been named president of the Engine Alliance, a 50/50 joint venture of General Electric and Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corp. Jones succeeds Jim Moravecek, who will return to Pratt & Whitney.

Jones also comes to the Engine Alliance from P&W, where she headed Commercial Engines & Global Services Marketing. Prior to this role, she served at the Engine Alliance as head of sales and marketing.
