EAST HARTFORD — Mary Ellen Jones has been named president of the Engine Alliance, a 50/50 joint venture of General Electric and Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corp. Jones succeeds Jim Moravecek, who will return to Pratt & Whitney.
