New Haven's WTNH-TV has promoted Roger Hess to director of sales for WTNH, MyTV9-TV and wtnh.com. He will be responsible for all revenue generated by the stations and Web site. Hess has worked for WTNH for 17 years in capacities including account executive, local sales manager and national sales manager. WTNH-TV has also named Connie Fitch director of media sponsorships for WTNH, WCTX-TV and wtnh.com. Fitch has 20 years of related experience and will continue to lead promotional sales support.
The Visiting Nurse Association of South Central Connecticut has hired Andrew Eaves as vice president of marketing and development. He most recently held the position of director of customer service at VNS of Connecticut. Eaves earned his BS in entrepreneurial studies and communication from Babson College in Wellesley, Mass.

Yale-New Haven Hospital has appointed Catherine Stevens, BSN, MS, RN, director of women's and infants' services. Her responsibilities include labor and delivery, maternity high-risk obstetrics, maternal special care, maternity post partum and perinatology service. Stevens is the former patient service manager on the pediatric intensive care unit.
The Connecticut Laborers' District Council has appointed Charles LeConche as international representative for the council's New England region. He will be responsible for tasks including resolving labor disputes, reviewing international agreements and participating in preliminary discussions before development and project construction begins. LeConche also serves as business manager and secretary treasurer for the council.
