Date Michael Stotts, currently managing director of George Street Playhouse in New Brunswick, NJ, will be Long Wharf Theatre's new managing director. Stotts, who will officially start at Long Wharf in January 2003, has been managing director of George Street Playhouse for three seasons. Prior to that, he spent nine seasons as managing director of the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival. Stotts also served as chairman of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance, the statewide association of New Jersey's 22 professional theaters and was active on the board of ArtPride/New Jersey, an interdisciplinary arts advocacy organization. He will join Gordon Edelstein, who was named artistic director of Long Wharf earlier this year.
