Date James Blake has been promoted to the newly created position of executive vice president of Southern Connecticut State University. He has served as the university's vice president for finance and administration since 1996. Before coming to Southern received his bachelor of science degree from Eastern Connecticut State University and his master's degree in public administration from the University of Connecticut.
