Date Margaret K. Hostetter, M.D. has been named chief of pediatrics at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital and chair of the department at Yale School of Medicine. She is also a professor of microbial pathogenesis at the School of Medicine. Hostetter joined the Yale-New Haven Medical Center as a professor of pediatrics in 1998 and as named director of the Yale Child health Research Center as well as section chief for the department of immunology. She previously served on the faculty at the University of Minnesota Medical School. She graduated from Denison University with a B.A. and received her M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine. She was named among the "1,000 Best Doctors in America" by "American Health Magazine."
