Date Edward Kwasnik, MD was elected to a six-year term as the New England Surgical Society's executive committee Connecticut representative. He has served as the director of surgery at Waterbury Hospital since 1993. Kwasnik is also director of the surgical residency program at the hospital and an assistant clinical professor of surgery at Yale University School of Medicine and the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School.
