BlumShapiro Acquires R.I. Firm

SHELTON — The regional accounting, tax and business consulting firm of BlumShapiro has announced a merger with Sullivan & Co., an accounting firm in Providence, R. "http://www.moral/buyonline//#visit_us">visit us. The deal, which became effective on January 1, makes BlumShapiro one of the Top 50 accounting firms in the nation, with 340 employees throughout New England. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The firm will now have offices in Shelton and West Hartford as well as Boston and Rockland, Mass. and Providence, R. "http://www.moral/buyonline//#visit_us">visit us.
