Green Fest May Draw 5,000
NORWALK - The Live Green Connecticut! Festival scheduled for September 18-19 is described as a "fun-filled two-day showcase for eco-friendly businesses, exhibitions, demonstrations, money-saving ideas, energy efficiencies with new technology
The event will take place at Taylor Farm Park in Norwalk, and feature attractions and exhibits including marine ecology and nature center exhibits, wind and solar displays, a farmers market, hands-on children's activities, environmental and conservation organizations and speakers, alternative fuel vehicles, landscape and garden centers, green careers and education, eco-art, eco-fashion, entertainment, food and beverages, and the SoundWaters Schooner. Proceeds from Live Green Connecticut! will benefit the Norwalk Seaport Association, SoundWaters, Norwalk River Valley Trail and the Calf Pasture Beach Wind Power Project.
